Welcome to My Doctoral Student Portfolio
My portfolio displays evidence of my intellectual progress toward completing my PhD in Educational Studies in the Inter-University Doctoral Program at St. Francis Xavier University. It includes a scholarly narrative and 12 artifacts taken from a collection of assignments completed in the first year of my PhD studies. The artifacts are grouped into five general areas of knowledge and competencies: general knowledge, in-depth knowledge, research knowledge and competencies, professional and collegial competencies and teaching and instructional competencies. I chose these artifacts because they are more than a collection of documents; there are an assessment of myself, my academic accomplishments through lifelong learning and my goals. My scholarly narrative is found here.
